“So, when I have fashioned him (Adam, the first man) in his proper measures and breathed into him (Adam) the soul that I (Allah) created for him, then you (angels) fall down prostrate (in a show of respect) for him.”
The Life Topics Series begins at the end of Ramadan and continues until Ramadan starts the next year. Ramadan is a prescribed period of time when we abstain from bad behaviors, and practice discipline, and study to understand the original human nature as G'd intended. Life Topics is the continued study with explanations using the contemporary scriptural language of Imam Mohammed (rra) on a wide range of circumstances and subject matters in the Qur'an and the life examples of Prophet (pbuh). These lectures offer our conscious mind ways to dress our soul properly, and strengthen our faith according to the Qur'an. Life Topics inspires our inquisitive mind to search for truth, examine previous beliefs and remove the shackles of false religious incrimination to establish the potential of human expectation and excellence as intended by G'd. Life Topics clarifies misinterpretations, and misconceptions about the human nature, and all of creation around us. Life Topics nourishes a G'd conscious self-esteem which is the foundation for a strong community life; a healthy perspective about women, family, business, history and religion. Life Topics awakens the mind, points to a natural pattern upon which the human being was created, and support the concept of "freedom with responsibility" where people feel safe, and believe that:
“The (original) Soul is the real life, race, culture and ethnicity, are merely its dress.. If you dress up this original soul without knowledge and respect for the way G’d created it, then you’re not in touch with the human essence in its purity, you will not go very far.
We hold these truths to be self evident that men are created equal and endowed with certain inalienable rights.” Imam Mohammed said, “man means mind” which is the custodian over our soul.”
